At Rodenstock, we recognize people as individuals, with eyes of different shapes and sizes. That's why at Rodenstock, we use thousands of data points to measure and determine the parameters of the eye and use this data to produce the lenses customised according to the biometric parameters of each individual eye. This has made us the lens experts we are today.

Today, most lenses are manufactured using a standard vision test with just four standard prescription values as input for the lens calculation process.
We wanted to be more precise. At Rodenstock, we determine the biometrics of the whole eye – far beyond industry standards. These data points are integrated directly into the lens. The result: lenses with the sharpest vision for every angle and every gaze.

The world’s first spectacle lenses optimised for individual visual sensitivity and biometry
With B.I.G. EXACT™ Sensitive, We have reached a new evolutionary stage. We discovered that visual sensitivity is highly individual and linked it to the individual eyes’ biometry. We used that to further develop our state-of-the-art biometric lens calculations and design lenses that are optimised precisely for each individual, marking the next evolution in B.I.G. VISION™.
B.I.G. EXACT™: biometrically exact lenses
With biometric lenses based on DNEye® technology, Rodenstock is creating a paradigm shift in the calculation of ophthalmic lenses by precisely determining the unique shape and size of each eye and taking this into account during manufacture.
B.I.G. NORM™
With our AI technology, we at Rodenstock are able to offer biometric lenses to all spectacle wearers. We call these lenses: B.I.G. NORM™.
