Porsche Eyewear – Autumn/Winter Collection 2021

Stuttgart/Munich.
Very much in the spirit of Porsche Design the new frames in the Autumn/Winter 2021 collection represent innovation and perfection. In established eyewear concepts and the expansion of existing categories, the exclusive lifestyle brand is expressing the personal desire with new trends: to optimise the function, reduce the shape to the essential and overcome the familiar in order to develop the new best solution time and again.

The Air Spring series
"Design is not simply art, it is the elegance of the function." The Air Spring frames reflect this claim by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in the side pieces, which combine a design and functional element in one. The minimalist frame made of titanium and beta titanium reveals its technical sophistication in the form of an innovative, flexible zone, which offers maximum wearing comfort by adapting to the facial contour. The two frames for prescription lenses (P‘8397, P‘8398) and the two sunglasses (P‘8939, P‘8931) in the Air Spring series represent a perfect precision fit and lightness.
Depending on the VISION DRIVE™ lens coating, the sunglasses have a RRP between € 360 - € 420, the frames for prescription lenses have a RRP of € 430.

The Flexible Purism series
With the new frames in the Flexible Purism series form follows function and impresses with a clear and minimalist design. The design of a stainless steel wire is distinctive and gives the frames a technical look and the lenses an almost floating appearance. The simple side piece made of the high-performance plastic RXP® guarantees maximum flexibility, lightness and pleasant wearing comfort and complements the sporty and functional design of the Flexible Purism series.
The highlight of the Autumn/Winter 2021 collection is the sunglasses P‘8921, which look fu-turistic with the general shield and make a real fashion statement.
The sunglasses (P‘8921 and P‘8922) are available in several colour variants and have a RRP of € 295 or € 290.

The Ultra Light series

"The reduction of things to the essential." The new frames for prescription lenses in the Ultra Light series embody this quote of F. A. Porsche and therefore his passion for a purist design. Made of titanium and weighing only 5 grams, the frames are the lightest and most minimalist in the current collection. With the reduction of components to eight or nine parts, the Ultra Light series speaks a clear and fluent design language and appears almost rimless.
The frames for the prescription lenses (P‘8383 and P‘8395) are available in four different colour combinations and have a RRP of € 450.

The Ball Tec series

Inspired by the ball, which is considered the original form of all life and can be found amongst nature in various forms, the Ball Tec series is the perfect symbiosis of functionality and a unique design. The core element of the frames is a screwless hinge joint made of 100% titanium, which offers maximum flexibility and durability thanks to the precise manufacture. The combination of the high-performance plastic RXP® for the front, as well as the side pieces made of 100% titanium, ensure pleasant wearing comfort.
The models in the Ball Tec series are available both as frames for prescription lenses (P‘8385) and sunglasses in the panto style with a striking contrasting colour bridge (P‘8913), each in four colour variants. Depending on the VISION DRIVE™ lens coating, the sunglasses have a RRP of € 350 or € 400, the frames for the prescription lenses have a RRP of € 420.

All models are available from August 2021 in retail outlets, from October 2021 in the Porsche Design Stores worldwide, as well as online at www.porsche-design.com.
