High-Tech-Summer with Carbon, Steel and Titanium
Porsche Design presents a total of ten new
sunglasses and correction frames for ladies and men in summer
2012. The addition to the current eyewear collection with
high-tech materials, a purist design and outstanding wearing
comfort once again emphasises the craftsmanship and exclusive
design of the luxury brand.
Carbon for Innovative Spectacles
Models
Absolute highlights of the current
collection are the models made of the high-tech material carbon,
which also has many advantages in the production of spectacles.
Carbon is extremely light and resilient with very high strength.
Sunglasses P'8550 and P'8551, which can be
glazed with correction lenses, as well as correction frames
P‘8222, P‘8223 and P‘8224 are captivating with the high-quality
material made of three layers. Carbon with a resin coating gives
the flexible sides their stylish look. The stainless steel
front provides a masculine flair, and soft rubber on the
adjustable end pieces provides perfect wearing comfort. The
three correction models provide just the right styling for any
look: P'8222 goes perfectly with the sporty style,
P'8223 is convincing with its classical look, and
P'8224 gives a modern
appearance.
Modern Material
Mix
Porsche Design makes a clear fashion
statement with correction model P'8221 and its modern
material mix. The striking outside ring made of polyamide
emphasises the bridge, which is made of very light titanium.
With the elegant gold and black colouring, the stylish
correction frame becomes a sporty and individual must-have in
everyday business life and in your spare
time.
Perfection of Pure
Titanium
Masculine and exquisite: The
"Flowing titanium" line from Porsche Design
embodies the styling of the legendary design icon, the Porsche
911, which Profes-sor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche created in
1963. The two sunglasses P'8541 and P'8542
are new in the product range this season. The front, lugs and
sides flow together in curved lines and create impressive light
and shadow effects. 200 production steps are required to
manufacture the rimless sunglasses frames made of pure titanium.
The integrated spring hinges also give evidence of the highest
quality. The exquisite colour combinations of matt-titanium with
grey and light-gold with brown underscore the extravagant,
purist design.
Flexible
Eye-Catcher
Correction frames P’8227 (S1)
and P‘8227 (S2) are characterised by their pure de-sign and
extreme lightness. Thanks to a single fixation on the bridge,
the frames are a real eye-catcher and tremendously elastic.
Decorative titanium connections maintain the minimalist shape.
Matt, semitransparent polyamide adorns the lenses, which are
equipped with a moulded-in hinge for an optimum fit. The lenses
seem to flow and are available in two Carré lens shapes: an
elegant, rounded shape (S1) as well as a sporty, slender and
angular (S2).
A Timeless Statement
Fans of aviator sunglasses will be
delighted by the brand new cornered variant P'8548,
which reinterprets the retro look and is available in five
colours. Another highlight is the classic Porsche Design
P'8508 in light gold, which is now also available in a
size of 62 millimetres as well as 60 millimetres. The sporty
models are not only cool accessories, but with polarised lenses,
they are also optimally suited to numerous types of water
sports.
