Pole Position for Porsche Design Eyewear
Rodenstock and Porsche Design have been cooperating
for almost a decade. The result of this cooperation is the most
successful license collection ever of the spectacles
manufacturer from Munich. In December 2010, for example, the
results with the Porsche Design spectacles collection increased
a full 50% compared to the previous year and a new record
turnover was brought in. The numbers confirm once again the
high-ranking quality of this
cooperation.
The success of Porsche Design
Eyewear is based on real values as well as on the timeless and
functional design signature of the luxury brand. Hence, some
spectacles in this year's collection have already
developed into modern classics. Besides new releases of
legendary vintage models, 2010 focused on modern concepts as
well as a line developed especially for ladies. Clear, reduced
styling, innovative technology, and select materials give all
Porsche Design spectacles exclusivity, ensure outstanding
wearing comfort and make them into true bestsellers.
"The demand for our correction
spectacles and sunglasses has been extraordinarily high right
from the start of the collection, and exceeds our greatest
expectations," says Dr. Jürgen Geßler, CEO of the
Porsche Design Group. "With the combination of
innovative technology, the best materials and a purist design,
we repeatedly hit a nerve with our design- and style-conscious
customers. Our license partner Rodenstock, whose technical and
product-specific know-how is indispensable, also stands for the
high quality and the
success."
Oliver Kastalio, CEO of
the Rodenstock Group: "Here, two premium partners have
met who are united by the high demands they place on themselves.
Both brands stand for products with outstanding quality, which
are characterised by the highest functionality, innovative
technology and trendsetting designs. We are proud of the
cooperation with Porsche Design - and the success shows that we
are right."
