Lenses that Think for
Themselves As a photochromatic lens,
ColorMatic IQ® automatically adapts to the light conditions of
the surroundings very quickly, which is typical of Rodenstock.
The lenses from Rodenstock lighten noticeably fast in the first
two minutes. Hence, the self-tinting lenses are the perfect
companion for active and comfort-oriented spectacle wearers and
outdoor fans, who really value maximum reliability and the
greatest wearing comfort. Besides speed, the service life is
also an important quality feature for photochromatic lenses
because UV radiation attacks the photochromatic molecules in the
lens in the medium term. ColorMatic IQ® lenses have extremely

of the harmful UVA and UVB radiation is absorbed. And, on the
side, the lenses also perform an anti-aging function. Due to the
perfect UV-400 protection, the lenses protect the sensitive skin
around the eyes, and the wearer simply looks
younger.
Intelligent Interplay of
Colours At 8%, ColorMatic IQ® lenses have a
low amount of basic absorption. To end customers, this means
very light lenses that are very clear indoors. Natural colour
perception is guaranteed by colour blends that are
physiologically adapted to the eye. Rodenstock has recomposed
the colours using modern dyes and that way created the most
attractive ones in the market. ColorMatic IQ® lenses
achieve absorption of up to 85%. In brown, they increase the
contrast when in a darkened state. Grey lenses have a more
neutral and balanced effect. Due to uniform filtering of the
entire light spectrum, they guarantee neutral colour
reproduction in all colour variations. ColorMatic® IQ in green
is a unique feature, since it is a colour that is exclusively
available in photochromatic lenses from Rodenstock. Furthermore,
ColorMatic IQ® is available in the ColorMatic IQ® Contrast
variation in orange and green as intelligent sun protection and
