To See and be Seen
To kick-off this year's summer season,
Rodenstock is presenting a total of 17 correction spectacles for
ladies and men. They include ten models in the Contemporary
series, five in the Classic and two in the Children's
series. In the new collection, the traditional company focuses
on the current, hip design: reduced, linear shapes combined with
mature technical solutions and modern colours. Clear contours, a
refined new material mix and perfect functionality round out the
multifaceted styling.
Panto - the
Retro Star Made of Titanium The
"retro" theme is at the heart of the
"Contemporary" series. The designers at
Rodenstock were inspired by more than one hundred years of
experience in the Munich workshops and their rich tradition, and
revived a model that existed in a similar form in the last
century. The striking highlight of this renaissance is the R
2288 panto spectacles with the decorative, rounded styling that
suites both men and women. The spectacles are captivating with a
high-quality, ultralight titanium acetate material combination,
and fascinating due to their unmistakeable look: a modern retro
design with Windsor ring. There is a choice of four colour
combinations: havana/black and havana/gold as well as blue/gun
and olive/gun. The panto frame is available in two sizes thereby
also effectively accenting more slender faces. The
more angular retro model R 2289 can also be ordered in two
sizes. The frame is available in the colour duos of black/grey,
gold/havana, silver/grey and brown/black, and is particularly
ideal for stronger
prescriptions.
Modern and
Minimalist The second product line in the
"Contemporary" segment is focused on modern
minimalism coupled with a material-intensive look. This special
effect comes about through the different colours that change on
the inside and outside of the metal frame. This play of colours
- which may be tone-in-tone or contrasts, depending on your
taste - is also characteristic of the R 2290, technically
refined men's spectacles made of brushed stainless
steel. Flexible sides and decorative openings on the design
hinges emphasise the high technical competence of Rodenstock.
The modern Nylor variation R 2291 is also convincing due to its
minimalist design. The R 5253 stands out with its
intensive colours. It is a men's frame with
multicolour acetate on the front and a high-quality metal end on
the front of the sides.
Plastic
and Metal - the New Alliance Lightness,
transparency, decorative silhouettes and an elegant material mix
characterise the third product line of the
"Contemporary" collection. The R 5258
men's spectacles in a classical Carrée shape and the
mellower unisex version R 5259 combine a plastic front with
sophisticated metal sides. The same applies to the feminine
correction spectacles R 5260, which are offered in various
colour versions. Customers can choose from grey, brown, lilac,
blue and red. The Nylor R 2284 ladies' spectacles
score with refinement. Its purist design lives from modern
colour contrasts that stand out in a striking way, especially on
the acetate sides. The spectacles are available in red, black,
gold, lilac and gun. Ladies' spectacles R 2285 in the
cool sheet look are captivating with their fascinating play of
colour. While the front captivates with metal, the outside of
the acetate sides are covered with three changing layers of
colour. A particular eye-catcher is that one of the colours is
repeated effectively on the inside of the
sides.
In the "Classic"
segment, Rodenstock presents the R 2269, a strong
men's concept that creates a flair through striking
openings on the lugs and sides. This classical and
simultaneously decorative type also provides a very good view as
a Nylor version R 2270 and rimless spectacles R 2271.
The new models of the stylishly elegant
collection from Rodenstock can be ordered effective immediately.
