Stylish Outlooks
Porsche expands its current eyewear collection with
a total of 13 new sunglasses and correction frames for ladies
and men. The luxury brand is highlighting its typical character
with purist shapes, innovative technology and choice materials.
The result is exclusive spectacles for the highest demands with
outstanding wearing
comfort.
Inspiration from
Nature
Whether sporty for skiing or as a
stylish accessory for après-ski – diversity and a perfect design
make the sunglasses in the "Organics" line
indispensible. Porsche Design is showing two new models in the
wrap-around look that are orientated around organic shapes. The
P'8535 frame and the more slender version
P'8531 are convincing due to consistent styling with a
broader, more progressive lens shape and ergonomically soft
rounding. A flow line shaped transition that runs from the front
of the spectacles to the sides as well as a flowing band are
characteristic of the design of the two models, neither of which
have lugs. The dynamics of the metal front are continued
consistently in the wide, clearly textured sides, which are made
of a special high-tech plastic.
The organic
patterns and style of honeycomb are behind the inspiration for
the design of the sporty sunglasses from the
"Honeycomb" men's line. Model
P'8537 is distinguished by a sporty look with the
shape of a rounded drop and a cut-out in the bridge. The
striking, angular look is characteristic of both
P'8538 variations. The outside of the sides are made
with an extremely stable high-tech plastic, while the inner side
has the typical "honeycomb" pattern in the
form of a soft rubber inlay. The benefit here is that the sides
adapt to the shape of the wearer's head as if by
themselves so that the spectacles do not slip. In addition, the
models of these lines present a decisive plus in this season.
Both spectacles can be glazed with correction lenses. Discrete
colour contrasts and thrilling accents on the inner side of the
sides emphasise the purist design and are right in line with
current trends. Another original detail is provided by
translucent sides in which the honeycomb pattern also shimmers
through to the outside.
Stylish
Down to the Details
The high-tech material
carbon is used consistently in sunglasses P'8547 as
well as in the two correction frames P'8215 and
P'8217. For example, the innovative car-bon-look
acetate was developed especially for the frames, and gives the
specta-cles a stylish and self-confident air. Porsche Design is
full of surprises with a thrill-ing contrast in the combination
of colours, for example striking, patterned acetate in
combination with translucent acetate in a classical horn look.
Technical know-how can be seen here in every detail, for example
in the spring hinge that is com-pletely integrated into the
frame so that the models ensure a stylish look down to the
smallest details.
Contours in
Perfection
Sporty and exquisite at the same
time with flowing lines and soft transitions, the models of the
"Flowing Titanium" line follow the styling of
the design icon, the 911. Two new correction frames are being
added this season. P'8214 S1 is designed as a sporty
version with round contours, and in contrast the
P'8214 S2 is convincing with angular contours. This
powerful expression is also unmistakable in the models of the
"Aerodynamics" line. Sunglasses
P'8543 with an angular, masculine front in a Carré
shape and double-bridge are also made of titanium. The design of
the high-tech plastic sides is reminiscent of a wind tunnel. The
finely wrought edges create a thrilling interplay of light and
shadows. Model P'8544 is also designed with the same
details, and is distinguished by its soft, round pilot lenses.
The extravagant design of the frames is additionally emphasised
by exquisite colour combinations such as gold with grey, dark
red with black or blue-grey with an antique
touch.
Materials and
Colours Combined Innovatively
Porsche Design
brings a very exciting material mix to bear in two correction
mod-els. The front of the P'8219 frame with a
double-bridge and the P'8220 with a sim-ple bar made
of titanium is highlighted by an additionally applied acetate
ring. This fashionable detail is accentuated by an interesting
colour mix: grey with olive green, gold with brown, or dark-grey
with blue. Matt, transparent or shiny surfaces intensify the
effect. The casually elegant style of the spectacles makes them
into a fashionable all-rounder and a trendy must-have – both in
business and in leisure time.
