A big name, the highest quality standard and German

The Current
Trend
Three different product lines address
different brand-aware groups of buyers. A specially adapted
collection was designed for the Asian market. Keeping in harmony
with international trends, Mercedes-Benz Eyewear is also showing
new colours. In addition to the timelessly masculine hues like
grey, black and brown, which are still available, modern and
semitransparent colours have now found their way into the
collection – for example a very expressive red. One thing has
not changed this season, however, and that is that all
sunglasses can be glazed with correction lenses – except for
models in the shield look.
Modern
Line – For a Young, Life-Stylish Look
The
Modern Line will have enticing and thrilling light-shadow
effects this spring/summer 2012. Correction model M4003, which
is made of polyamide and is based on the Mercedes-Benz car
design, has refined contoured edges on the sides, as do
sunglasses M3010 and M3011. Even the famous star on the sides
joins in on the effective shadow effect thereby creating an
additional flair. A variety of versions, ranging from full rim,
continuing with Nylor half-rim variations, right up to different
colour concepts will thrill spectacles wearer of all types.
Whether classical hues like Havana and black or preferably a
teal, burgundy red or sand, every stylish man will strike it
rich here.
Comfort and Elegance
with the Premium Line
With models M2012 to
M2015, the Premium Line is completely in the tradition of the
highest technical standard to which Rodenstock and Mercedes-Benz
are committed. The correction spectacles are very striking with
their innovative sides construction, but they are very modern
and light at the same time. Due to the flexibility of the
material, the spectacles can get by without spring hinges, so
that the decorative look is maintained
completely.
Sunglasses M1013 and M1014 are convincing
in their technical perfection with an elaborately crafted hinge
that is completely flush when it closes, and with precision that
is typical of the technical standard of the Munich spectacles
manufacturer. A combination of plastic and stainless steel gives
the spectacles a timelessly elegant effect and provides the
greatest possible wearing comfort at the same time. The
legendary star – just like on all models of the Mercedes-Benz
Eyewear Collection – is made using the traditional coin minting
method and makes every model in to a very special
item.
Exclusive Line: Pure
Luxury
The absolute highlights of the
collection are models M2008, M1017 and M1018, a correction frame
with a titanium sheet front and sunglasses made of extremely
light, pure titanium respectively. Stylish fronts with a high
bridge and the decoration on the sides that is modelled after
the radiator of the car make these spectacles into indispensable
items for men with the highest demands. One special highlight is
the integrated spring hinge that is sunken into the sides, which
will please the technology enthusiasts of the brand. Timelessly
beautiful colours like black, dark-brown, titanium grey and gold
go with any style, and perfect the exquisite look of the
spectacles.
Two shield sunglasses made of a
refined titanium-polyamide combination (M1011, the star of the
new shootings, and M1012) meld matter-of-fact luxury with the
technical superiority that is typical of the Exclusive Line.
Thanks to its innovative construction, the sides and nose pad
can be simply clicked onto the shield. The first shield
spectacles in this line are therefore as exclusive as the name
