Material Mix in Its Most Beautiful Form
At this year's opti, Rodenstock is
presenting an expansion to the successful BALDESSARINI
spectacles collection, which will include 15 new models. The
eight sunglasses and seven correction frames will thrill with
exciting colour and material combinations, innovative designs
and high-quality workmanship. Hence, the latest spectacles are
completely in the spirit of the brand’s philosophy: style with
substance, a desire for individuality, a passion for quality and
a love of detail.
Glamour with
Metal and Leather
In this season,
BALDESSARINI Eyewear is showing a very special reinterpretation
of the timeless pilot sunglasses. The frames are made of metal,
and the sides are completely covered with the finest sheep
leather. Exquisite colour combinations like light-gold with
copper, dark-blue with black and palladium with white leather
sides – the highlight of the collection – and also
colour-matched graduated tint lenses emphasise the exclusivity
of the spectacles and make them into an extravagant eye-catcher.
For enthusiasts of classical designs, there is a model with a
rounded lens shape. Spectacles wearers with a preference for a
more angular silhouette can choose a sporty Carré
shape.
High-Contrast Symbiosis of
Metal and Acetate
The new additions to the
sunglasses from BALDESSARINI include both simple as well as
striking models made of acetate and metal. Stylish details are
primarily highlighted by the progressive material mix, and all
attention is drawn to them. A true statement are frames made
with an elegant acetate front and a contrasting, shiny metal
insert on the top bar, that flows smoothly into the sides.
Small, decorative rivets on the middle section or discrete
branding on the sides create fine accents. This luxurious
appearance of the modern yet still timeless spectacles is
completed by interesting colour variations – partly in a
two-layer look – such as dark brown with orange, dark grey with
black or light-gold with
Havana.
Titanium and Acetate
between Austerity and Coolness
Two
sunglasses and three correction frames made of titanium with
acetate elements complete the BALDESSARINI collection. The
models convince everyone through a modern design, partly with
explicit, purist lines, and partly in a casual retro look. The
fronts of the spectacles are made of high-quality, ultralight
titanium sheet or titanium. The acetate spectacles create an
interesting contrast to this. With acetate in a two-layer or
textured look in a contrasting colour, they ensure a modern and
smart look.

The acetate correction frames are
surprising this season with thrilling colouring and super
effects. Even with the more classical models, for example an
expressive transparent olive-green look or the exclusive
BALDESSARINI acetate in a textile look, makes sure that the
spectacles are unmistakeable. The characteristic BALDESSARINI
dots as distinctive marks of the brand also create elegant
highlights. In addition, there is an ultralight Panto frame made
of high-quality titanium in which the decorative front is
discretely accentuated by a fine acetate
ring.

luxury in silver
BALDESSARINI Signature is
showing three very special, exclusive new additions to the
collection with genuine sterling silver. Both the correction
frames as well as the sunglasses ennoble their owners through
high-quality Italian acetate and the finest silver in an antique
look. The inspiration for the three exquisite models was a very
special element of the BALDESSARINI jewellery collection: a
fabric-like pattern that also serves as a gem mounting, also
called a "gallery". The front segment of the
temples is framed by a high-quality, three-dimensionally wrought
decorative element that decorates the outer and inner sides in
the form of a broad decorative strip. Characteristic of this
stylised lattice element made of oxidised sterling silver is the
extravagant design, an exquisite herringbone look on the outer
side and a classical, yet just as artistic, wrought finish on
the top of the sides. Made of high-quality acetate, these models
are captivating due to an individually textured horn look that
makes all spectacles unique. Classical colours like brown,
cream, or black emphasise the elegant retro charm of the frames.
