Rodenstock is presenting 13 new models of
spectacles from dunhill Eyewear at the opti trade fair,
including the first foldable sunglasses from the British
men's luxury label. This means the international
collection now includes 26 correction frames and 31 sunglasses
in three different lines: dunhill Club, dunhill Classic and
dunhill Ultimate. There are 14 new models for Asian buyers,
which have been developed specifically for the market
there.
dunhill
Club In the coming season, the dunhill Club
line continues to stand for modern shapes and unique materials:
specifically a new acetate made exclusively for dunhill Eyewear
in the colours "black marble" and
"brown marble". Inspired by the dunhill luxury
acccessories, this acetate featured a delicate pattern that is
reminiscent of marble.
dunhill
Classic This season, dunhill Classic again
reflects functional luxury. Both the first foldable dunhill
spectacles D1023 as well as the first dunhill Reader D0001 made
by Rodenstock display practical functionality and an elegant
design. Both new additions to the dunhill Classic line are very
convincing with their well thought out details. For example, the
sunglasses can be folded together. However, when they are open,
there is no indication at all of the additional function. The
classically styled complete spectacles made of ultralight
titanium have a clip attached to the side as an extra feature.
As a reference to the height of British craftsmanship, some of
the dunhill Classic models also have a decorative element made
of pure titanium in an Art-déco style on the
sides.
dunhill
Ultimate dunhill Ultimate stands for
functionality that is technically perfect coupled with a sporty
design. An unmistakeable element of this product line is the
high-tech material carbon, which is characterised by its
flexible strength and very low weight. The sides have a
rubber-carbon inlay for even greater wearing comfort.
The exclusive Alfred Dunhill spectacles
collection can be ordered as of Spring/Summer 2012 from
Rodenstock. There are a variety of attractive display concepts
available to opticians as sales aids, including a visual of the
British star ballet dancer Rupert Pennefather, who is one of the
cast of the worldwide dunhill advertising campaign “Voice".
