Sven Kossyk becomes Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
of the Rodenstock Group. On November 1, 2011, the 43 year-old
will take over the financial department of one of the
world's leading manufacturers of lenses and

"Sven Kossyk has had many
years of success in the financial management of global
enterprises," says CEO Oliver Kastalio, "and
he fits in excellently with the new corporate culture, which is
characterised more than ever by its entrepreneurial spirit and
the will to be successful in the market. I am looking forward to
our joint task and collaboration and would like to thank Sven
Schirmer, who had taken over this position
temporarily." Kastalio added that the Rodenstock Group
is on a really good course. "We are in position for
sustainable and profitable growth in the coming years from a
personnel, organisational and strategic
perspective."
Kossyk was last with
MSD (Merck Sharp Dohme), one of the five largest pharmaceutical
enterprises in the world, where he was the Finance Director in
Greece. Other stations of his career also included Altana Pharma
and Thomas Cook.
The graduate industrial
engineer has also held a teaching position with the University
