Successful Spring

After an outstanding opti in Munich, Rodenstock was also able to be very convincing at the MIDO in Milan. Not just the innovations in the area of lenses were met with tremendous interest, but the latest eyewear collections were as well. The mood was set for customers with a multi-day ordering event at Lago Maggiore.

Immersing Into Other Worlds
More than 40 customers from all over the world didn't miss the opportunity to have a close look at the latest developments in lens research and also in eyewear at Stresa on Lago Maggiore in Italy. Specially designed brand rooms drew Rodenstock customers into the worlds of the different brands. Besides the new Rodenstock eyewear collection, the luxurious licensed brands of Porsche Design, Alfred Dunhill and Mercedes-Benz were met with a great deal of enthusiasm. In the area of lenses, it was mainly the spectacular new EyeLT development that convinced opticians from around the world – and once again underpinned Rodenstock's position as the innovation leader in the lens sector. The result of the event exceeded expectations by far.

The select social programme made the exclusive meeting perfect. Whether during dinner together, at a rallye in the beautiful landscape around the lake, or a boat ride to an island in Lago Maggiore, Rodenstock partners had many opportunities to chat in a relaxed atmosphere. The programme also provided sufficient space for suggestions, questions about the new products and for insider discussions with no pressure.

The Success Continues
Rodenstock used this event to give partners the possibility to experience Rodenstock and the other brands intensively and exclusively far from time pressure and the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. Many customers combined their visit to the Rodenstock sales event with the MIDO at nearby Milan. The positive trend in 2011 also continued there. The Rodenstock booth was well visited on all days, and the result of 25% more than last year speaks for itself.
