Alfred Dunhill Eyewear
Rodenstock presents new illustrations of the Alfred
Dunhill spectacles collection at the opti 2011. The inaugural
range was launched successfully last spring. Now, the eyewear
line of the British men's luxury brand consists of a
total of 12 correction frames and 16 sunglasses. The expanded
collection will be presented in a brand world created especially
for it within the trade fair appearance of the Munich-based
spectacles manufacturer.
Gentlemen
only The collection from Alfred Dunhill
interprets the insignia of the modern British gentleman in a
very unique way. It stands for a stylish and classical design
combined with discretely luxurious and functional details. Brand
ambassadors like Daniel Craig, Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Josh
Brolin are among the protagonists of this distinguished
style. Based on the various segments of the brand, the
exquisite men’s spectacles are divided into three lines: dunhill
Club, dunhill Classic and dunhill Ultimate. There is also a
specially adapted collection of five models of this very popular
brand in the Far East for Asian
buyers.

Club dunhill Club appeals to the
contemporary, modern gentleman and combines seven models with a
balanced design. This includes five correction frames made of
titanium and acetate as well as two sunglasses made of acetate
or alternatively a refined combination of titanium and
polyamide. The models pick up on classical and current trends.
For example, the iconic aviator shape is adorned with a modern,
exquisite double bridge, and one of the sunglasses reinterprets
the styling of the 60ies in the retro style. The two decorative
titanium metal frames with reduced amounts of material
demonstrate understatement with their exquisite decorative
elements, such as lacquered bridges.

Classic Timeless, consistent, finest quality
– this is the definition of the dunhill Classic line. The
authentic and uncompromisingly elegant spectacles are perfect
for the modern man and are convincing with their luxurious
decorative elements such as a diamond-cut surface on the temples
or lacquered bar bridges. High-quality materials such as
titanium as well as exotic rosewood or ebony complete the select
style of this line. Two sunglasses are made of titanium, and two
others combine a metal front with exotic wood sides. The two
correction frames align with the requirements of having
unobtrusive luxury and making a clear statement. They are either
rimless or send out a clear signal as modern acetate frames.
There are also exquisite decorative elements on the temples of
this line, which bear the Alfred Dunhill vintage logo on the
outside right across the entire collection. The historical
emblem documents not least the fascinating history of this
unique British brand.

Ultimate With a dynamic design and clear
lines, dunhill Ultimate line is targeted at the man who has many
demands on his eyewear. Different surfaces and carbon fibres
that have been worked into rubber as well as curved lenses with
striking angular edges emphasise the claim of an innovative
luxury brand, as is seen in sunglasses D1011 in a clean shield
look.
Classically masculine colours
dominate the Alfred Dunhill collection in all three lines, above
all different shades of brown and grey, as well as Havana, black
and gun. However, gold and titanium-blue are also found in the
expanded collection. All models are available in three colours
and come in an exquisite box with a matching case, a cleaning
cloth, an Alfred Dunhill booklet as well as a guarantee
card.
The exclusive Alfred Dunhill
spectacles collection can be ordered from Rodenstock as of mid
January. A variety of attractive display concepts are available
to opticians to promote sales.
