Style meets quality
Some want strikingly colourful over-sized models,
others prefer discrete tones and classical lines. Everyone can
find the right sunglasses in the new Rodenstock summer
collection. The 13 Lifestyle and 12 Classic models are unified
by striking details, for which Rodenstock is known. They range
from inset Swarovski crystals and restrained retro elements like
Windsor rings for the ladies sunglasses up to spring hinges and
fashionable double-bridges for the men. As usual, Rodenstock has
placed particular importance on first-class quality in the
frames and lenses.
Oversize
Me The fashion trend of last year is
continuing. Sunglasses may, and should, stand out! The design of
the front is in the focus of the Lifestyle segment from
Rodenstock, the design of the temples is rather subtle and
straight. The ladies models are presented in the oversized look
with red, pink and violet acetate frames. The highlight of the
collection is model R 3225 with its flowing soft shape. Model R
3223 is especially reminiscent of the exuberant style of the
late sixties with its playful chain-link look on the sides and
the curvy acetate frame (R 3221, R 3222, R 3224, R 3226, R
3227).
Memory of an
aviator The pilot shapes continue to be
popular with men. With this summer collection, Rodenstock
addresses the aviator fantasies of the different decades: The
classical metal pilot spectacles with the Windsor ring are like
an homage to the sixties and seventies. In contrast, variation R
3231 with its stable and yet decorative polyamide frame, is more
reminiscent of the early eighties (R 1353, R
3231).
Classical design is so
multifaceted Style-conscious, elegant but not
strict – this defines the Classic line from Rodenstock. The
ladies models bestow a serious look, but carefully toy with
fashionable design at the same time. This includes high-quality,
three-dimensional decorative elements in the sides like block
acetate or extravagant metalwork in the sequin style. But there
are also interesting contrasts that arise in many frames through
the combination of metal and acetate. Here, the discrete but
summery colouring of the spectacles ranges from beige to
gold-brown and up to violet (R 1343, R 1344, R 1345, R 1348, R
1352, R 3223, R 3225, R
3228).
Summery
lightness The men’s models combine a reserved
world of colours consisting of silver, black and grey tones that
make the spectacles into the perfect companion to any summer
suit or polo shirt. Carrée and rounded shapes – in connection
with an otherwise timeless and reduced design – ensure a blend
of seriousness and summery lightness. The curved double-bridge
in model R 1358 is very striking – as yet another homage to the
sixties – as well as the flowing top line of frame R 1359 (R
1346, R 1347 R 1349, R 1358, R 1359, R
3229).
First choice (of
material) Rodenstock stands for quality and
demonstrates this with the new collection as well. Numerous
models once again have high-quality spring hinges, and frames as
well as sides made of exquisite multilayer acetate. In addition,
with the ladies model R 3225, the high-quality chamfered rim is
an eye-catcher – in the truest sense of the word. Customizable
end pieces with many of the men’s spectacles guarantee very good
wearing comfort as well. The quality concept
continues with the sun protection lenses: Without exception,
they have UV-400 protection as recommended by ophthalmologists.
The well-known Rodenstock quality engraving also stands for
this. All spectacles models are also ideally suited for
corrective sun protection lenses up to +/ 10 dpt. (R 1344, R
1346, R 1347, R 1349, R 1358, R 3225).
As
usual, there is extensive PoS material available to the
opticians for successful sales. In addition, the start of the
new collection is supported by an attractive print, outdoor, and
online campaign.
