Vision at night

Avoid light reflections

It is said that all cats are grey in the dark. In actual fact, the ability of our eyes to see in the dark is reduced. In addition, the blue portion of light is higher at night than during the day, which can result in slight nocturnal myopia since blue light is refracted more in the eye. In cases of increased glare sensitivity, this can even lead to nyctalopia or night blindness. Your ophthalmologist can use special instruments to determine whether you suffer from reduced vision capability or nyctalopia in the dark.

Our tip: we recommend lenses with a high-performance anti-reflection coating to keep additional light reflections at night out of your eyes.
