As 3D video centring
systems, ImpressionIST® Avantgarde and the new ImpressionIST® 3
combine comprehensive measuring and consultation functions,
satisfying operating comfort and outstanding picture quality.
The heart of the two devices is the 3D stereo camera technology
for fast, accurate and automatic determination of the
customer's individual parameters, and it does
everything with one shot. In the process, pictures are taken
from two perspectives while looking into the mirror with the
pre-adjusted frame – completely without any interfering tools
like a measuring attachment. With the help of the photographs,
parameters like the vertex distance, pupil separation, bow angle
and frame tilt are measured exactly. This comprehensive and
accurate recording of all the relevant data makes the device
perfect for the adjustment of Rodenstock Impression® lenses. The
spectacles wearer receives an unparalleled individual and
precision result – in short, the perfect
spectacles.
Individual and
Competent Expert Advice
Everything from a
single source: There are convenient to use consultation
programmes in the device for expert and visual consultation.
They show the characteristics of different progressive, near
vision, sport and single vision lenses in a way that is as easy
as it is graphic. In addition, the customer can immediately see
how different models of spectacles, colour variations and shapes
suit him thanks to the consultation programme for frames,
colours and finishes. Even lens tints and antireflection
coatings can be simulated here with a simple mouse
click.
Innovative, Flexible and
User-Friendly
In practice, ImpressionIST® 3
and ImpressionIST® Avantgarde prove their worth through their
easy handling. With its very slender design, ImpressionIST® 3 is
very well suited for shops that only have a small amount of
space or low rooms. Thanks to the greater depth of focus and the
larger display window, the measuring distance from the customer
to the mirror for the photograph is only an arm's
length. ImpressionIST® 3 is available as a tabletop, wall
mounted or freestanding device. Its mobility is proven by the
touchscreen PC with WLAN that can be setup independently of the
measuring unit at any location.
The height regulation
of the camera is quick and intuitive to use. In contrast to the
high-end device ImpressionIST® Avantgarde, ImpressionIST® 3 does
not have the integrated fixation target or the aesthetics
filter. Instead, ImpressionIST® 3 is convincing with its
unbeatable cost-effectiveness.
A great advantage of
both units is the fact that they are multiuser compatible.
Hence, the end customer and optician can withdraw to a
consulting desk in peace right after taking the photograph on
the service terminal. That way, Rodenstock makes it possible for
the optician as well as the spectacles wearer to have a
