General data protection provisions

Protecting your data is important to us

We are delighted that you are interested in our company and our products or alternatively services, and would like you to feel safe regarding the protection of your personal data during your visit to our websites. You see, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. It is a matter of course that we observe the provisions of the German Data Protection Act.

We would like you to know when we collect data, which data, and how we use it. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations for data protection are observed both by us and by external service providers that we hire.

Personal data

Personal data is information about your identity. This includes, for example, your name, address, telephone number, and email address. It is not necessary for you to reveal personal data to use our website. In certain cases, however, we require your name and address as well as other information so that we can provide the desired services.

The same thing applies, for example, for sending informational material or ordered products or to answer individual questions. Whenever this is necessary, we inform you of this accordingly. Moreover, we only save and process data that you give us voluntarily and possibly also data that we collect automatically when you visit our websites (e.g. your IP address and the name of the pages that you call, the browser that you use and your operating system, the date and time of the access, the search engine that is used, name of downloaded files).

If you make use of services, then as a rule we only collect data that we require to provide the services. If we ask for more in-depth information, then that is voluntary information. Personal data is processed exclusively to fulfil the requested service and to safeguard our own justified business interests.

Purpose of the personal data

We use the personal data provided by you generally to answer your questions, process your orders or give you access to specific information or offers. In addition, in order to maintain customer relations, it may also be necessary for us, or a service company hired by us, to use this personal data to inform you about product offers or to carry out online surveys in order to better support the tasks and requirements of our customers.

It goes without saying that we will respect it if you do not want to give us your personal data to support our customer relationship (in particular for direct marketing or market research purposes). We will neither sell your personal data to third parties nor will we market it in other ways.

Use for a specific purpose

We will collect, process and use the personal data provided by you online only for the disclosed purpose. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Personal data will only be collected and passed on to state institutions or authorities entitled to receive such information within the framework of the relevant laws or where we have been obliged to do so by court order. Our employees as well as service providers engaged by us have been obliged by us to confidentiality and to comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act.

Data that is recorded automatically when our websites are visited

When our websites are used, the following data is saved automatically for organisational and technical reasons: the names of the web pages you have visited, the operating system and browser type you use, the date and time of your visit, the search engines you used, the names of downloaded files and your IP address.

We analyse this technical data anonymously only for statistical purposes in order to continuously improve our website and to make our offerings on the Internet more attractive. This data is saved separately from other personal information on secure systems. No conclusions are drawn about individual persons.
